Las Trancas of Ripley in Ripley

I've order several times for take out over the last few weeks, and each time they got my order wrong. Each time when I called to complain, they wanted to argue that they gave me the correct order. Most recent order I asked for Plato's grande and what I received was a fajita. Not even close! Dining in is barely better you have to repeat your order several times no matter which wait staff your assigned to. I'm done with this place! If I could rate lower I would.

Everyone but, me loved their lunch. The enchilada sauce tastes suspiciously like ketchup. The rice, had fried rice vegetables in it and it was the best thing on my plate as it did not all have enchilada sauce on it. The guacamole, cheese dip, and salsa were good. The wait staff friendly and did not give me a hard time over returning my food.

Always friendly service, reasonable prices and a clean environment. Not to mention yummy food! Love the new cushy chairs!

Extremely pleasant dining experience. The staff at Las Trancas are all amazingly responsive and attentive. Food is always served quickly and is fresh and warm. I’ve ordered around a dozen different items off of the menu and none have failed to impress me. My favorite is the taco salad with the Chile relleno is a close second. While a taco salad may seem an odd, unremarkable favorite; Las Trancas gets it just right... the shell doesn’t get soggy, it isn’t greasy, and the crispness is just perfect. Finally, the salsa is good; but the spicy salsa available upon request is amazing if you like some heat.

Good Food. Great Service and very friendly

Nice food for a very reasonable price! Service is quick and friendly. The only thing was no one was there to seat us or was there a cashier. People were waiting around until I decided to go in to get someone. They also have a very clean ladies’ bathroom! I would recommend this restaurant!

So, yeah. We were just passing through on the freeway, got off here in Ripley and found this place. Amazingly good food. If you are reading this and trying to decide if you want to eat here, the answer is YES. I reccomend starting with the chorizo dip, guacamole and chips! Then, order the fajita quesadilla! Excellent choice. Better then my favorite Mexican restaurant back home. Hope this was helpful. Give it a thumbs up so I know you were here :-) Thanks, and enjoy!

Food and service was pretty good. My wife's vegetables in her fajitas was slimy and overcooked, but when brought to managements attention they was very apologetic and attentive. I would definitely eat here again.

Guys. This place is amazing. The service is wonderful. The atmosphere is great. We were traveling and stopped on our way home for a break from the open road. I was not expecting such an amazing meal. The food is on point!

Legit the best Mexican I have had in manyany years. I had dinner #18 a taco, chilli, enchilada, rice and beans. The enchilada sauce made the meal. It was absolutely beautiful!! The service was great from start to finish. Especially with covid going on. Hats off to this team.

Absolutely the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. The food is awesome, and they have alot to choose from. The restaurant is super clean which I really like. The atmosphere and service is great and all of the staff are really friendly, The paintings they have are gorgeous. If you want a really nice Mexican restaurant to eat at then this is the one! I have been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. I also love how fast you get your food after you order it, and it all taste so fresh and delicious. I absolutely love this place, and I strongly recommend everyone to go here.

We were escorted to a table, I asked for a booth, they told me" there are none in this section and it is his turn". I replied " poor excuse". 20 seconds later folks were seated in a booth 20 feet away! I left, loudly. If you don't care enough for me to seat me in the booth I can see I do not care about supporting your business. I really don't care who's section or turn it is.

Bad server experience. Great salsa, good food, happy with the drinks but our server gave me a negative experience. We waited a long time between courses because he didn't check in with us and when my food needed to be sent back, I debated on even waiting because the other person eating with me had been done with their meal for quite some time. I've seen better wall paintings but I would still recommend this place.

Amazing Mexican food speedy fast reasonably priced

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Never been to a mexican restaurant that serves only american tacos. Spent $35 on 4 plates of tacos that was just thrown together. Taco Bell has way better tacos if that explains how bad they were.

I would never recommend this restaurant they say they are Mexican but you can't even get an authentic Hispanic taco and the ones you get isnt that good You could go to sheets gas stations and buy better tacos

The food is always delicious and staff is always great! The decor and atmosphere inside is also lovely. Best Mexican Restaurant I've eaten at. And I've eaten at a lot of them, all over. It's my favorite cuisine. This restaurant is the one I judge all other Mexican restaurants against. My family lives 5+ hours away and agree that it's the best. We always have to eat there when they visit.

Food was great and service. We felt safe during this pandemic. Tables and boothes are distanced and entrance and exit have been rerouted.

We love to stop here on our way to/from S.C. Great staff, Very clean, Fast service, Lots on the menu to choose from (picky eaters). The best part...Very inexpensive. Nice stop before you overpay for mediocre food with slow service while on vacation.

I've noticed of I use my credit card I'll be charged more than the bill. If I use cash it's exactly what the bill says. Called them out a couple times and got free drinks, which technically I paid for the previous time. Always use cash now.

Great Mexican Restaurant - not typical. Worth a stop for dinner or lunch. Fair prices and their homemade hot sauce is excellent; make sure to ask for it. Also, great place for a ice cold draft of Dos Equis.

Food was awesome. Service was really good. The burrito California style was huge! Definitely get your money's worth with that dish. The cheese sauce for the nachos is a must.

Fantastic! Love their food, love their restaurant and love the atmosphere. The staff is courteous and friendly, the food is delicious and the restaurants are clean and festive with the wonderful decor. Try the tilapia and shrimp dish! It's exquisite. It's so good I get it in take out.
